Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry

Each year, FBC New Brockton joyfully participates in Operation Christmas Child, a global outreach ministry led by Samaritan’s Purse. Through this effort, we pack and send gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world—sharing not only practical items and toys, but also the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Each shoebox is a powerful opportunity for evangelism and discipleship. Along with their gift, children receive a Gospel booklet in their own language and are invited to participate in The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson discipleship program designed to help them know and follow Jesus.

We invite our church family and community to get involved by:

• Donating items such as school supplies, hygiene items, and small toys
• Writing encouraging notes and including prayers for the child who will receive the box
• Volunteering to help pack, collect, or deliver shoeboxes
• Giving financially to cover shipping costs

Packing a shoebox may seem small—but God uses each one to make a huge eternal impact.
