Who goes to this Church?
We currently have more than 70 active members and regular attendees. Our 11:00 a.m. Sunday Morning Service averages around 65 people; our 9:45 a.m. Sunday School usually has about 45 in attendance. Please Join us!
What time is your Sunday Worship Service?
Sunday Worship Service is held in the Sanctuary. It begins 11:00 a.m. service is relaxed, featuring familiar hymns with piano accompaniment and Praise & Worship sung by the FBC Choir.
What type of sermon does the Pastor preach?
Bro. Stephen Pope preaches Expository Sermons.
Do you have to dress up to attend your Sunday Worship Service?
No! Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at FBC New Brockton. Some do wear their “Sunday best” but you’re also likely to see someone in slacks and a casual shirt, or even jeans. We believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up, ready to worship God.
What to expect during Sunday Worship Service?
The Sunday Morning Worship Service is about 1 hour long. We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at FBC New Brockton. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed; we share announcements and church news; we sing and listen to our choir perform beautiful music; we share the congregation’s joys and concerns and lift them to God in prayer; Sermon are around 30 minutes; we collect an offering to further God’s work.
Who goes to your Church?
We have quite a mixture of people at FBC New Brockton. Our congregation truly spans the ages, from newborns to folks in their 90s. You’ll find just about every type of person here – married, single, divorced, widowed – professionals, workers, retired – life-long New Brockton residents and those who have just recently moved to the Wiregrass Area. But even more important than the kind of people who go here is the kind of people who are welcome here – Everyone!
What type of Music is played during Worship Service?
The FBC Choir sings a mixture of Hymns and modern Praise & Worship, because we have different generations with different preferences.
